SimWorld Sports began as an NBA2K roster editing group in 2012, on a forum by the name of Operation Sports. SimWorld quickly evolved from a roster editing project to furnishing an entire virtual world. 2K Sports drew inspiration and began to poach several members of our team.
SimWorld Sports continued to evolve to encompass rosters, sliders, fictional draft classes, collegiate environments, backstories, and international play.
We then began to realize that we were creating our own virtual landscape within NBA2K. Our team quickly changed gears and enlisted the top creators in the 2K Sports journalist and modding communities, all in the name of coming together to create our own "SimWorld" virtual experience for all to enjoy.
